LIVE TRACKING

Bring your trip alive and allow those at home to follow your trip in 'real time' and view you location on mapping / satellite imagery such as Google Earth. Live tracking is especially useful if travelling alone and / or in remote high risk areas of the world. Tracking units can be turned on and off at your discretion.

dontworrymum.com offers a variety of managed tracking solutions. All tracking units / solutions include a panic alarm feature monitored 24hrs a day by a manned Operations Room. Solutions available include:

GPRS / SMS Tracking

  • Small tracking units that work in areas where there is mobile phone coverage.
  • The unit requires a SIM card valid for the area of travel.
  • The frequency of position reporting can be configured as required from 10 seconds - several hours.
  • Operating costs of trackin units that utilsie SMS are more expenscve than those that use GPRS.

Satellite Tracking

  • More expensive to purchase / rent and to operate
  • The soluton required must take into account:
    • What is to be tracked (Person / Vehicle / Ship / Yacht / Aircraft etc)
    • Where it is to be tracked and satellite coverage
    • Transmission periodicity
    • Required battery life 

GPS Enabled Mobile Phones

  • Solutions are available to track GPS enabled telephones
  • A predetermined pressing of certain phone keys operates the Panic Alarm.
