Reciprocal Health Care Agreements
Check which countries have reciprocal health care agreements in place. Where appropriate ensure you are carying any cards / certificates that provide you access to medical care under these agreements. For information on countries with reciprocal health agreements with the UK see here.
European Health Insurance Card (EHIC)
If you are British and travelling to mainland Europe, and you haven't got an EHIC card, you will need to apply for one by filling in this form or calling 0845 606 2030. See here for more information.
